The Canadian American Bar Association (“CABA”) is an associational forum and voice for the cross-border legal community committed to promoting the rule of law, bilateral trade and the special relationship between two of the world’s largest and most comprehensive trading partners. CABA provides informational and networking resources to legal practitioners, academics and policy makers aimed at facilitating cross-border legal practice and creating a platform for the study and debate of cross-border legal topics. CABA additionally carries out in-depth legal and policy research and engages in cross-border advocacy initiatives that further its mission and the interests of its members.
CABA offers memberships to individual attorneys and sponsorship opportunities to law firms. The benefits of CABA membership include:
- Participation in CABA’s broad and diverse cross-border network;
- Access to cross-border programming in the form of CLEs, policy discussions, and other events;
- An opportunity to participate in research and advocacy initiatives aimed at developments in cross-border law.
