Jason M. Pannu is a Lewis Thomason shareholder based in the firm’s Nashville office. He is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  Jason practices primarily in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation with an emphasis on the construction industry. He also practices in the areas of professional liability, toxic tort and environmental law and employment law disputes.  As part of his construction law practice, Jason advises architects, engineers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in connection with large-scale projects and regularly appears in State and Federal Courts and arbitration on construction defect claims, professional negligence claims, breach of contract claims, and lien and bond claims.  Jason also advises clients regarding litigation avoidance and assessment.

Jason maintains an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. In 2010 through 2013, he was one of the 2.5 percent of lawyers under the age of 40 to be selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyers® Rising Star.  In 2010, he was one of the 25 lawyers from across the United States to be selected for the American Bar Association Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s prestigious Leadership Academy.  Jason has continued to serve as the Secretary and on the Board of Governors of the Tennessee Bar Association for over 6 years.  He is admitted to practice law in Ontario, Canada and Tennessee.  Jason is also fluent in Cantonese Chinese and French.
