Alexandra Marcoux represents clients exclusively in immigration and nationality law matters. Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, she moved to South Florida for the first time with her family during high school and later returned to her native country to attend college in Montreal. In 2005, she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Montreal, which includes a session spent abroad studying French and European law at Pantheon Assas University in Paris, France.

Ms. Marcoux then moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2005 and earned her Juris Doctor from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008. While in law school at NSU, Ms. Marcoux was a staff editor of the Nova Law Review and a Teaching Assistant in torts and constitutional law, providing weekly tutoring sessions to first year law students in preparation of their exams. She also received two awards by the CALI Institute for her achievements in the study of torts and business law.

Ms. Marcoux was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2008. Following brief clerkships in insurance defense and commercial litigation, she decided to open her own law firm to represent and defend foreign nationals who are seeking to live and work in the United States. 

Alexandra Marcoux is admitted to practice law in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and she is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She speaks French fluently and serves her French-speaking clients in their native tongue. As such, she is on the referral list of both the Consulate General of France and the Consulate General of Canada in Miami, Florida.
