Marie graduated from Queen’s University in 2009 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in History. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2012. During her time at law school, Marie earned a spot on the school’s National Trial Team and competed at several national trial competitions in New York and California.
Marie was called to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2012 and the New York Bar in February 2013.
Marie joined Reisler Franklin LLP as an articling student and returned as an associate upon her call to the Ontario Bar in January 2014. Her practice includes all aspects of insurance defense litigation including personal injury, commercial host liability, property damage, and accident benefits claims.
She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, Toronto Lawyers Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, Young Women in Law, American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
