Melissa’s practice consists primarily of domestic trademark prosecution, availability searching and counseling, and trademark enforcement. She also has experience with domestic in-use investigations and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings. Prior to joining Rader, Fishman and Grauer, Melissa gained experience in estate planning, immigration law, and corporate law.

While a student at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, Melissa participated in the competitive-entry Daniel Webster Scholar Program; an alternative bar curriculum with a practical training focus. She was also a member of the Trademark Law Moot Court, secretary of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and co-chair of the Public Interest Coalition. Subsequent to her graduation from the University of Windsor, Melissa taught English Language to business professionals in Seoul, South Korea.

Melissa was born in Waterdown, Ontario, Canada. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family.
