Steven Grigoriou is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and practices in all areas of corporate and securities law. He regularly advises clients on compliance issues related to the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Mr. Grigoriou represents public funds, fund sponsors, investment advisers, investment banks and other financial institutions in connection with the design and formation of investment funds and products, securities offerings, regulatory and compliance matters, transactions and other corporate matters.

Mr. Grigoriou’s practice includes significant experience advising business development companies, mutual funds, closed-end funds and their boards of directors, and multinational investment advisers. He has represented fund sponsors and underwriters in initial public offerings of business development companies and closed-end funds and secondary public and private offerings, including at-the-market offerings, rights offerings, debt and convertible debt offerings and preferred securities offerings by such funds. Mr. Grigoriou has represented Apollo Investment Corporation, BlackRock Kelso Capital Corporation, Prospect Capital Corporation, TCP Capital Corp. and the GAMCO/Gabelli fund complex. He regularly counsels business development companies and registered investment funds and their boards of directors in connection with directors’ duties, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
